One hour meeting.
First a meal followed by some kind of discourse, delivered by a qualified guest – or a Club member informing us about her /his profession. Subjects concerning society in general, trade and industry, different marks of culture etc are fre-quent. By this, Rotary acts as a meeting-place and a university in miniature.

Lerums Rotary Club – with an open and warm-hearted touch.
The Rotary Club of Lerum includes about 64 members. A new President, a group of Club officers and a number of committees, working within specific areas, are being elected once a year. As is the routine in all other Rotary Clubs.
But in certain respects we in Rotary Lerum differ from average. We have, without exceptions, been able to present good results through the years; we keep a high standard programwise; our leaders and committees show a great amount of engagements; we all cooperate in a positive spirit. In other words – the platform of making valuable contributions according to our goals is the very best.

It´s of importance to say that Rotary is not an order or fraternity with secret rituals etc. Nor a union, lead by commercial, political, religious or other considerations. Rotary is a group of women and men, all interested in what happens around us, both on a local and a global level.
Rotary is a Club where people with a certain amount of knowledge, experiences, ideals and visions come together regularly. Although representing many different profession, the members are united in a common agenda, directed towards different kinds of support activities and towards a pleasant social intercourse.
